Getting into the swing of things

The twins have been great so far in our one week stretch. They usually eat every 3-4 hours and have been getting a little more alert (or as alert as a newborn can get LOL). I must say that most visitors are taken with Hannah as she is the smallest and somehow gets all the attention. Here she is in her mini boppy hamming it up for the camera. I have yet to capture Sophie and Hannah smiling and I swear they both did it, but maybe they're just exercising their facial muscles.

Hannah in the mini boppy chilling after a good meal.

Girl power! Liz brought Lauren over (although you can't see her, she's in the swing napping), I'm in my overalls in the back with Liz holding Hannah, and upfront Dana is holding Sophie.

I need love too!!! Poor Em Em, I took this shot as she laid at my feet watching me feed the babies. She's been really patient, but I feel really bad for her and Kiki. I have only carried and pet Kiki a few times since being home :( I'm so sad!!! My poor pet babies!!! I try to spend as much free time with Emi and if I could I would hunt down Kiki, but my stitches will not permit me to be the crazy woman I usually am.

Our other newbie moves with parenting have included the changing of the diaper pee catch. Hannah is notorious for it and we've counted 5x's now. This morning I'm proud to say I wasn't a victim and caught it in the dirty diaper before changing into the new one.

I wish I could say the same with Sophie. I changed Sophie's diaper no problem and as I was busily feeding her I felt something wet....hmmm...milk spilling? Drool? What could it be? You guessed it pee pee all over mommy, bed, and Sophie...lovely. They weren't lying when they say you do ALOT of laundry when you have babies.
