So Soph Soph has found her voice and has let everyone know that she found it by setting record breaking levels throughout the room. It was cute the first time, but...ah yeah... Meanwhile Miss Hannah is gabbing femininely with her nice sweet, "Naa maa aaaa". I can see where this is leading and maybe I'm calling it too soon, but I think Sophie is gonna be a tomboy and Hannah is gonna be a princess.
Other small tidbits are Hannah is starting to sit up on her own, her favorite toy is the plastic keys that cousin Julius gave to us, she loves playing peek-a-boo, and enjoys our walks to Starbucks with Aunty Liz and Lauren. Oh, and she's finally got the jumping down. Yay Banana!
Sophie is into everything these days and loves putting everything in her mouth. She has great coordination with her toys and likes to throw them everywhere. She has already grabbed Pika's (the Ko's cat) tail and smacked Emi (our dog) a couple of times. Sophie's favorite toy is the ball that cousin Julius gave to us. Her next favorite toy is the cellphone that I bought for her. She too likes playing peek-a-boo and going on our walks to Starbucks (there isn't another decent cafe in walking distance, so forgive me my fellow Jazzlanders!!!).
Things we're trying to teach are: waving "Hi"and "Bye", signing milk, signing eat, signing "all gone", standing up by grabbing our fingers, reaching out to motion "carry me", rolling over, not to grab mommy's hair (hahaha), and swatting their toys in their car seats (ok, so that one is a specific Sophie one).
Both girls seem to like the new food I introduced to them: guava, apples and blueberries, winter squash, spinach and potato, pears and mango, and peach banana oatmeal. Thankfully they're not picky eaters and pretty much eat everything they're given. We tried apple juice and water and unfortunately they're not into that (what can I say they love their milk), but we're about to introduce the sippy cup so we'll see how that goes.
