Eating Biscuit Revisited

I had a busy week with work, so there wasn't a whole lot of posting. Right now it's a bit late, but I figured I'm up and it's about time to post one up as the girls hit 11 months not too long ago.

Some updates:

Hannah has been doing her version of crawling for about 2 weeks now. I will need to film it and post it, but to get her going it usually involves either a toy she really wants or some food. Other than that Miss Hann will not budge. Hannah also surprised us by standing on her own for a couple of seconds...probably twice. She still loves cruising along the gate, exersaucer, couch, whatever she can latch onto. She's also a great imitator and likes to copy her mama. Things she likes to copy me on are when I point, when I sing, if I clap my hands, wave my hands in the air, and misc words. She is able to sign milk (we've been slacking on teaching new signs). The great thing about Hannah is that she learns pretty quick. Today I taught her how to put a toy into a box, she copied me and did it, but Sophie, on the other hand, has issues letting go of any object in her possession. For some reason babies really like fans (we first witnessed Lauren being able to point out a fan), so whenever I say where's the fan? All heads turn upward....Hannah will actually point to it.

Sophie has mastered crawling, sit to stand, etc and can actually walk a few steps. Today she walked probably 4+ steps towards me and of course I did not capture it on film, so you'll have to take my word for it. She's also using the walker to go everywhere when I'm doing some household chores and managed to get into trouble a few times. She can pet "nice nice" with Kiki and Emi. She speaks her own cute babble. She's also really good with figuring out how to get objects into her crib or gate by maneuvering the objects sideways to get it through the bars. I'm working with her on letting go objects, so she learns how to share. She enjoys dancing, music, clapping hands, and seems to be a sort of an entertainer. She will stand in front of you smiling and "show off". She knows how to give "five", wave bye bye, and wave hi. She's also very communicative when letting me know when she's hungry (hee hee hee!).

Hannah making a funny face while making funny noises blowing air through her lips.

Sophie always on the go. Here she's playing with the toy piano.

The girls are teething, Hannah has about 9 teeth (Soph has 8) and now both girls really enjoy the biscuits we bought for them. Here Hannah has fun eating them and from the looks of it how much really gets into the mouth?

Looks like Hannah was feeding her hair, nose, eyes, etc.

Sophie is an expert at eating and knows not to feed her hair, nose, etc.

Eating biscuits still is a messy event. Sophie looks like she's sharing a piece of biscuit with mommy.

Can I have that camera?

I can pick up a ball!
