On Saturday we went to Vanessa's red egg and ginger party in South San Francisco. The girls had fun with some matching pink kitty balloons and they loved the seafood soup. We had to leave early as the girls were tired. Sorry Kelly!
Here are some pics...

Thank you Kelly and Gil for inviting us!

What's a red egg and ginger party?
We just went to two Red Egg and Ginger parties and before this we didn't know what it meant either. I talked to other friends to find out and googled it too. It's to celebrate the baby's first month. Back in the old days infant mortality was low, so I think most Asian cultures keep babies indoors for the first 30 days and in Chinese culture they celebrate the infants life at 30 days (Red Egg and Ginger).
