Holidays are near

As I see the signs of the Christmas season starting to appear once again I think where has all the time gone? I believe we'll be spending Christmas here on the mainland and unfortunately this will be the first year I will not make it home to Hawaii at all!!! There was a possibility that we were going to take the twins home sometime before next year, but I slacked on purchasing tickets and being decisive. Ah, the life of a procrastinator hopefully the girls will not follow me in that area and hopefully we'll make it to Hawaii next year.

A typical day in the life of mommy and the twins start by feedings, diaper changes, and some naps. Throughout the day the twins take turns sitting with mommy on the computer and if the twins sleep through the night (sometimes they sleep for 5 hrs straight) we all take a walk around the neighborhood ("we" meaning, Emi, Sophie in the stroller, and Hannah in the bjorn). So far all the advice and experience from friends and family have been true and besides the feedings, etc I do spend a lot of my time washing bottles, making formula, and doing loads of laundry. I feel like I'm stuck in that movie "Ground Hog's Day" (where Bill Murray re-lives the same day over and over and over). As monotonous as it seems, I immensely enjoy spending my days with my girls.

I am currently on the search for the perfect outfits for the girls to take Christmas pictures with Santa which is a Kage tradition every year. I just realized that there aren't many nice outfits on the market or maybe I'm just that picky.

In any case here are some pics of the girls with some of the accessories and clothing that they got from friends and family:

Hannah - "Fight the Power" Wearing Uncle Jay's outfit.

Sophie trying out the bjorn and liking it for a millisecond.

My fur baby Emi patiently waiting for me in the door way and looking so damn adorable!!! Still not much sightings on Kiki unfortunately.

Hannah on the left and Sophie on the right. Hannah sporting Aunty Vincy's handmade cap.

Pacifying the twins as they wait for their milk.

Sophie, Daddy, and Hannah. Thanks Uncle Chris and cousin Jayden for the outfits.
